About Council for Citizen Rights (CCR)

CCR stands as a beacon of integrity and civic responsibility, transcending boundaries as a Non-Profitable and Non-Government Organization (NGO) committed to championing the cause of justice and transparency. Our unwavering focus on 🚫 Anti-Corruption initiatives, 📜 Right to Information (RTI) Act Awareness & Implementation, and the broader 👥 Civil & Human Rights landscape has left an indelible mark on the social fabric of India.

Strategically positioned across the nation, with a significant presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and several other states, CCR is not merely an organization; it is a force for positive change, with its roots firmly embedded & founded in Karimnagar and operations headquartered in the dynamic city of Hyderabad. With the prestigious registration (1050/2019) and the distinction of being an Income Tax Exempted entity under sections 12A & 80G, CCR exemplifies the gold standard of ethical advocacy.

At the heart of CCR’s impactful initiatives lies a multifaceted approach. We voluntarily spearhead awareness campaigns on 🏛️ Government Schemes & Acts, delve into 🌍 Social Developmental topics, and extend a helping hand to individuals in crafting applications, petitions, and complaints related to RTI Act, Anti-Corruption, Prajawani, Spandana, and more.

CCR’s distinctive modus operandi involves meticulous 📋 Records Inspections in Government Offices, the orchestration of enlightening 📢 Awareness Programs for the public, colleges, and internal meetings, and forging partnerships with like-minded organizations boasting a commendable track record. Our success stories resonate powerfully, especially in the revelations stemming from Gram Panchayat Income Expenses Records Inspections, where we unveiled and exposed corruption running into crores across 100+ villages in 60+ districts, bringing the perpetrators to justice.

As a National NGO, CCR boasts a vast network spanning 65 Districts, with a legion of dedicated volunteers encompassing diverse backgrounds, including advocates, Ex Servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Airforce, Engineers, Doctors, and individuals from various walks of life—ranging from Working and Retired Government/Private employees to Farmers, businessmen, homemakers, students, and more.

CCR volunteers have undertaken an astounding 4000-5000 social activities to date.
